~ c1870 French Silver Gilt Collared Glass Smelling Salts Bottle ~
This is a nice 19th century French silver gilt topped cut glass bottle for smelling salts.
The perfume bottle is of bulbous form with etched fluting to the lower half.
The bottle has a two part stopper to store the smelling salts.
The collar of the bottle and the collar of the larger half of the stopper are of silver gilt.
They are hallmarked with the French mark.

The bottle has a diameter of 3.5 inches (9cm) and a height of 6.7 inches (17cm).
It weighs 0.32 Kg.

The bottle is in lovely condition with no damage and little sign of wear.
