c1900 “French Infantry” Vintage Tin Flats 19 Pieces. Boxed
The set contains five soldiers reloading the rifles, five soldiers crouching, five soldiers preparing to fire, a flags bearer, a drummer, a trumpet player and a soldier with a sword. Each piece is beautifully painted by hand in period dress.
The figures are painted in a glossy paint with tiny touches of gold and silver to pick up details.
The set is presented in a marbled grey card box with a paper sticker to the front. The sticker reads “French Infantry 1812 Firing”. There is a sticker below that reads “Charles Morrell, 50 Burlington Arcade, Piccadilly, London, W.1.” who traded from this address from the 1870’s to the 1930’s. The box is stamped to the inside “Foreign.”.

The figures are approximately 1.5 inches (4cm) tall. The box measures 3 inches (7.5cm)long by 2.25 inches (5.5cm) wide. It is 1 inch (2.5cm)deep. The set weighs approximately 60g.
~ Condition ~
The box is in a stable state with some light wear. The label is clear and intact.
The pieces are in very good vintage condition overall. There is some minor paint chipping with some of the pieces a little bent as expected. All parts look to be intact.
