~ Chinese Cizhou Ware Yuan Period 1271 To 1368 Ceramic Head Rest Pillow ~

The piece is known as Cizhou ware, known as stoneware in Western terms and “high-fired” or porcelain in Chinese terms.

It was a wide brush stroke flower to the top and scrolls to the sides over a white glaze.

~ Condition ~

The pillow is in tidy order, there was some professional restoration to the top.

~ Dimensions ~

The pillow is 28 cm (11 inches) wide, 11.5 cm (4.25 inches) tall  and 21 cm (8.75 inches) deep.
