~ Circa 1800 Georgian British Royal Coat Of Arms Cast Iron Lion And Unicorn ~
A splendid and large pair of beasts made from cast iron and finished to the front in later gold paint.
They were probably originally used as boot scrapers – the scrapers now removed – at the entrance doorway of a stately home, given their size.
The pair would now make a great display piece in any home.
~ Condition ~
Both pieces are in good order.
