A fine pair of Japanese Phoenix vases in the Chinese style dating to circa 1880.

The vases are of white china with red over-glaze overlaid with gilt floral pattern and the image of a phoenix on a white ground both front and back.

~ Dimensions ~

The vases each have a diameter of 9cm (3 ½ inches) and a height of 19cm (7 ½ inches).

The pair weigh 990g.

~ Condition ~

One of the vases has restoration to the rim (see images).

Both have a little wear to the gilt in parts but overall are in a very nice condition.
