~ Circa 1930 William Moorcroft Orchid Flambe And Yellow Variant Baluster Vase ~
This is an impressive example of William’s orchid vases with a striking colour variation of the yellow ochre tones at the top of the vase and a very deep blue base. The tube lining is crisp and there is no “bleed” in terms of the finish. It dates to circa 1930.
It is has the William Moorcroft blue initialed signature on the base of the vase. It is also stamped ‘Made In England’ and ‘Potter To H M The Queen’.
~ Condition ~
The vase in in perfect condition with no restoration, chips or cracks. The glaze is crazed.

The vase is 16 cm (6.25 inches) tall and 9 cm (3.5 inches) at its widest point.
