A lovely early 20th century single example with a mahogany case, cream dial, black Roman numerals and black hands. The back box is held in place by four wooden pegs, inside is the single fusee movement. It was retailed by Stocks of Southsea.

The mechanism is marked for Coventry Astral, Made In England and has a serial number of 71173.

Astral was the trade name of H. Williamson Ltd. and the factory was located in Coventry.

The clock is in good working order. The dial is in its original un-restored condition.

The clock is 39 cm (15.25 inches) in diameter and is 18 cm (7 inches) deep. It weighs 4.9 Kg.
