Description

 This pattern rifle was approved in November 1857 and put into production in December 1858. In addition to those made at Birmingham, London and at Enfield

This Enfield rifle these muskets first saw action with the British/Indian Army at the battle of Magdala in Ethiopia on 10 April 1868 and subsequently used throughout the latter part of the 19th century.

*Condition*

Good condition. The barrel and woodwork are nicely polished. There is some historical pitting on parts of the metal. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
