Description

~ Fine Pair Of 1923 Trench Art Made From 18 Pounder 1918 Dated Shell Cases With Birds ~

The brass cases are very nicely engraved with birds amongst oak leaves and acorns. To the reverse is a full artillery shell named ‘Souvenir’.

~ Condition ~

The cases are in good order. The primers have been removed.

~ Dimensions ~

The shell cases are 29 cm (11.5 inches) tall with a base diameter of 10 cm (4 inches).
