~ Georgian Cow Horn Oval Snuff Box ~
This is a beautiful box made from cow horn, used for pills/snuff or similar items.
The body of the box is coloured light brown with a darker brown base & lid. The lid has a blank riveted brass plate at the centre.
~ Dimensions ~
The box has a width of 3.5 inches (8.9 cm), a depth of 2 inches (4.7 cm) & a height of 0.8 inches (2.1 cm). It weighs 36 g.
~ Condition ~
The item is in rather good condition. There is a little wear & scratching to the brass but the rest of the box is in good order.
