Original German Second World War Kriegsmarine officer’s dagger hanger support belt, constructed from blue woven webbing with leather fittings and brass suspension rings. The belt is fitted with multiple leather-mounted brass D-rings used to attach dagger hangers, and retains its original leather adjustment strap with brass buckle. Ink stamped to the inside of the leather with size marking "85 W". Approximate length 94 cm.

History Note:
This type of belt was worn beneath the tunic by Kriegsmarine officers to support the dagger suspension hangers. The system allowed the naval dagger to be worn correctly without distorting the outer uniform. These belts were standard equipment for officers wearing the Kriegsmarine dagger or sword during formal and service dress, and were typically made from blue webbing to match naval uniform materials.
