This circular copper & brass plaque has a copper backing plate and a brass image depicting the Forth Bridge.
It would have been fitted to the muzzle of one of her 4.5 inch guns.

HMS Forth (A187), was a submarine depot ship adapted to operate and maintain the Royal Navy’s nuclear-powered submarines.
She was completed in 1939. Forth served at Holy Loch on the Clyde for a period during the Second World War.
HMS Forth was stationed at Trincomalee, Ceylon during the end of the Second World War.
During her stay in Malta in the 1950s she was moored on the east side of Msida creek. She left Malta in 1960.

The badge has a total diameter of 8 inches (20.4 cm).
Weight approx 1.26Kg.
~ Condition ~
The crest is in decent condition with light surface wear from storage. Both metals are shiny and would look great with a polish.
