~ HMS Kent Crested Zawiercie Crystal Cut Glass Ships Decanter ~
A fine crystal cut glass ships decanter by the Polish maker Zawiercie, engraved with the crest of the Royal Navy Type 23 Duke class frigate HMS Kent.
This traditional style ships decanter features a very wide base with a long narrow neck. (The large base was designed to give the container added stability while the ship was riding the waves at sea).
The decanter has decoration to three quarters of the base, with the fourth quarter plain for the engraving.
The fluted long neck leads to a faceted orb stopper.
The decanter is engraved with the new version of the HMS Kent badge which has features a rampant horse with the addition of a red cross and anchor.
The decanter still retains its original Zawiercie sticker.

The decanter has a base diameter of 20cm (8 inches) and a height including stopper of 29cm (11 ¼ inches).
It weighs 2.75 Kg
