A bronze wardroom badge from the Royal Navy R-Class Destroyer ‘HMS Satyr’.

Made of cast bronze, reading ‘SATYR’ over a rope and fouled anchor with rope border and crown atop.

The badge is presented on a shield shaped oak mount with hooks and wire to reverse for hanging.

The badge has a diameter of 14cm (5 ½ inches).

The mount measures 26cm (10 ¼ inches) by 18.5cm (7 ¼ inches).

It weighs 1.51 Kg

The badge is in great condition with no damage and the mount is in good order with only light wear associated with age.
