~ Large Model Of A Flair Puppeteer Painted As German WW1 Albatros D.III Fighter ~
This lovely aircraft model is made of light wooden frame covered with strong red fabric. It has decals attached to the wings, sides and tail. It has aluminium engine cover plastic propeller, pilot and a gun.
~ Albatros D.III ~
The Albatros D.III was a biplane fighter aircraft used by the Imperial German Army Air Service (Luftstreitkräfte) and the Austro-Hungarian Air Service (Luftfahrtruppen) during World War I. The D.III was flown by many top German aces, including Manfred von Richthofen, Ernst Udet, Erich Löwenhardt, Kurt Wolff, and Karl Emil Schäfer. It was the preeminent fighter during the period of German aerial dominance known as “Bloody April” 1917.

The model is 58 inches (147cm) wide by 49 inches (125cm) long and 18 inches (46cm) high.

~ Condition ~
The condition of the model is very decent with no tears to the fabric. The aluminium engine cover is slightly dented to one side and the wing decal has tear. One wooden wing supporter is broken.
