A fine gentleman’s signet ring set with a large oval-cut ruby.

The ruby is of a lovely mid-tone with a touch of pink in the light. It is of lovely quality, very clear showing the facets to the reverse.

The band is plain.

The ring is fully hallmarked for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1965, with a makers mark of ‘PPLd’.

The ruby measures a little over 10mm x 12mm (3.0 carats).

The ring is a UK size U which is a US size 10 ¼ (20.02mm inner diameter).
