They are fully restored to original working order, stripped and polished and give a very good optical performance. They come with a later tripod.

These binoculars are predominately used for viewing the horizon, the optics give outstanding visual clarity and are equal to any similar modern binocular. The eyepieces can be adjusted for focus as can the interpupillary distance.

The binoculars are 48 cm (19 inches) in total length with 80mm diameter objective lenses. They come with an adjustable height tripod which as photographed is 170cm (67 inches) tall.
