~ Description ~

The accelerometer KD 35 is a piezoelectric compression gauge. The charge output transducer KD 35  works as piezoelectric microphone. The pressure gauge is largely insensible to overweight but susceptible to thermal current. That should be taken into consideration during the measurement through defence of air currents. The KD 35  is suited very well for body sound measurements at walls and vibrating surfaces for reason of its high sensitivity of 50 mV/g. In this connection the measurement of the vibration velocity “v” is very interesting. The velocity can be measured by means of the velocity adapter V 65 which is connected with a ½”- microphone preamplifier of a precision sound level meter. Especially the precision sound level meters 00 017 and 00 023 of RFT VEB Meßelektronik Dresden are very well suited for that or generally vibration measurement devices with the possibilities of integration.
The KD 35 has a light metal case and therefore a weight of only 28 g. High sensitivity and weight make the KD 35 to an universal vibration sensor. In Connection with a touch baton the KD 35 is easy to manage and provided for the mobile vibration supervision. The pick-up KD 35 is well to install because it has a thread bore M5. The possibility for cable connection is on the side. Therefore the cable can be well fixed.
