This is an SA dagger from the WW2 period and comes with its matching scabbard. They are both unit marked on the cross guard and scabbard. The blade has a clear “Alles für Deutschland” clearly inscribed and the “HACO Berlin” makers mark on the reverse. The small hole drilled into the throat of the scabbard is clearly intentional but we are unsure of its purpose.
The blade is in excellent condition with some light marks. The grip is undamaged with a lovely walnut colour and the eagle insignia and SA roundel are pristine. The anodised scabbard has a few light blotches with a crack in the tip of the chape. A small hole has been drilled in the reverse of the throat. Please see pictures as these form part of our condition report.
