The copper lanterns have flip tops with catches, bronze fittings, and glass lenses.

One is named "Bakboord" and the other is named "Sturboord", Dutch for Port and Starboard.

They were originally electricity-powered, but a qualified electrician will need to rewire them if they are to be safely illuminated.
