    ~ Percussion Transitional Six Shot Revolver By Reilly Of London ~

    Dating to around the late 1850’s, the revolver is marked on top of the hexagonal barrel Reilly, 205 New Oxford Street, London. It has a chequered grip and scroll work decoration to the cylinder (which bears a proof mark) and hammer.

    It is housed in a later green baize lined case with the makers label.

    The revolver comes with numerous accessories :- a powder flask and shot, the latter housed in a brass cylinder by Smith & Beck & Beck ad well as two tools.

    ~ Condition ~

    Please refer to the images for condition. It indexes perfectly on all six cylinders. Much bluing remains on the cylinder. The case and accessories are in very tidy order, there is no key.

    ~ Dimensions ~

    The revolver is 24 cm (9.5 inches) in total length with a 10 cm (4 inches) barrel.
