The front visor is stamped ‘Jaeger’ to the underside. The upper surface of the rear visor is stamped ‘GKR’ and ‘5E’.

The Guarde Du Corps were the Prussian Kaisers personnal body guard, usually a complement of 100 men and 3 other ranks.

~ Condition ~

Please refer to the images for the condition. All pieces are original and the helmet is complete. The skull has a few minor dings and the eagle has the usual splits at the seams. The leather liner is complete. A decent example.

The helmet is 33 cm (13 inches) tall.
