A beautiful Royal Crown Derby hand painted cabinet plate by their artist W J Dean (signed lower right). The central scene depicts a ship in sail mast on the sea with a lime green border with a gadrooned gilded edge.
The plate is backstamped with the Royal Crown Derby crowned mark dating this piece from 1921 to 1965.

The plate has a diameter of 10.25 inches (26 cm) and it weighs 630 grams.
~ Condition ~
The plate is in lovely condition with no cracks, chips or restoration in evidence, there are several scratches on the green border. The gilding is excellent.
