Royal Doulton Character Jug “Pearly Queen” D6759
The Pearly Queen wears a black coat with silver buttons. Her hat is black with white, pink and blue feathers and three bells to the side. This jug was Designed by Stanley J. Taylor for The London Collection, issued between 1987 – 1991.

The Pearly Queen, like the Pearly King, is the chief spokesperson for the street-market costers of London. The office is both hereditary and elected.
~ Dimensions ~
The jug stands at 7 inches (18cm). The base measures 6 inches (15cm) at its widest point. This piece weighs 1.04kg.
~ Condition ~
The jug is in very good condition with no chips. There appears to be a hairline crack running around the handle between the bells. The crack appears to be a manufacture fault as it is under the glaze.
