A lovely small Royal Copenhagen vase dated for 1955.

The vase is hand-painted with the image of a mallard flying over the sea.

The base has the ‘Royal Copenhagan Denmark’ stamp in green with the wave pattern (in blue) below.

The ‘D’ of Denmark has a dash under it denoting the piece dates to 1955.

There is also a pattern no. ‘1087 88.B’.

The vase has a diameter of 7.5cm (3 inches) and a height of 13.5cm (5 ¼ inches).

It weighs 237g.
