~ Small Viking Yachts Brass Binnacle ~
A small brass yachts binnacle by Viking on brass stand with floating compass in gimbal under a brass hood with glass viewing port
Featuring two lidded lanterns to either side and complete with both quadrantal correctors.
The binnacle has its original ‘Viking’ brass label to the front.

~ Condition ~
One of the hooks that hold the hood in place has snapped off which means one side of the hood doesn’t sit quite as flush as it should, though this does not detract from the overall appearance.
There is a small dent to the port side of the hood by the lantern (see images).
There is some fogging to the compass glass and a little discolouration of the compass dial.
There is a slight colour difference in the hood and body where the body/stand has been polished to a higher shine than the hood, though this could easily be remedied.
Overall the binnacle is in a really nice condition with no significant issues.
