The piece, titled “OVER THE BAR”. The watercolour is titled to the lower left hand corner and is signed by the artist on the lower right hand corner. It depicts a fishing boat entering a French port whilst many people watch from a pier. A large vessel can be spotted behind.

The piece is framed in a Chinese white marble styled frame.
