Description

The Jezail rifle was a long-barreled musket used by Afghan tribesmen in the 19th century. It was known for its accuracy and could hit targets at long ranges. The Jezail was also decorated with intricate carvings and designs, making it both a functional weapon and a work of art. The Jezail was the Phastun’s weapon of choice during the Anglo-Afghan wars and was used to great effect.

*Condition*

Good condition. The decorative elements are still visually present and attractive. The wooden stock and body are nicely polished. There is some historical pitting on the metal body and barrel. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
