A nicely ornate Victorian 10ct gold brooch set with a single diamond.

The brooch is of oval form, highly decorative set with the diamond set to the centre.

The reverse has a window where a picture can be placed, or more likely a lock of hair from a loved one.

It is fitted with a pin clasp.

The brooch is marked ‘10C’ for 10ct gold to the reverse.

~ Dimensions ~

The diamond measures approximately 0.03 carats (2mm diameter).

The brooch measures 3.5cm by 4cm.

It weighs 10.7g

~ Condition ~

The brooch has a little light wear associated with age and a dark mark to the front (see images) which may just need a good clean.

The brooch is otherwise in very nice condition with no damages.
