~ Victorian 17th Lancers Duke of Cambridge’s Own Trooper’s Lance Cap Chapka ~
One of our favorite pieces of military headgear, the lancers Chapka. This one has the death or glory plate for the 17th lancers with a white horse hair plume.
~ Condition ~
The leather on the skull is crazed and the leather backing on the chinscales is missing as is one corner peak. The lining and fittings are in good order. It presents well.

The chapka stands at 22 cm (8.5 inches) tall.
