Description

The ebonised carved handle has a basket weave grip with broad leaves border with a small nipple pommel. The knife & fork are similarly decorated.

The black leather scabbard is profoundly embossed with Scottish thistle decorations on the white metal mounts. These mounts house the knife & fork.

The dirk has a sawback blade.

~ Dimensions ~

The dirk has a length of 17 inches (43.2 cm), 17.5 inches (44.4cm) with the scabbard attached. The blade has a length of 11.5 inches (29.2 cm).

The knife has a length of 7.5 inches (19.1 cm), the fork has a length of 6.5 inches (16.5 cm).

The set weighs 545 g.

~ Condition ~

All mounts & carved decorations to the sides of the grip are in excellent condition. There is minor wear to the leather of the scabbard.

The knife has a little bit of pitting wear to one side. The fork is in excellent condition. There is some minor wear to the blade on the dirk, scratches and minor wear to the lower end but remains mostly clean.
