~ Vintage Action Man Underwater Explorer ~
A Palitoy produced Action Man Underwater Explorer kit. The set comes with a uniform consisting of:
-blue rubber jacket with yellow logo – blue fins -navy trunks – knife and scabbard – face mask -mouth piece – air lines – single air cylinder
The harness for cylinder and hammer, Harpoon gun & depth gauge, are missing.The uniform is worn by a fuzzy bearded haired Action Man doll, dating from 1971. This one is marked with the original Palitoy/Hasbro makers stamp.
~ Dimensions ~
The doll has a height of 12 inches (30.5 cm), & a width of 4 inches (10.2 cm). The set weighs 242 g.
~ Condition ~
The jacket has some wear and perishing which is quite usual with this rubber material (please see images). The uniform is otherwise in good condition.
The doll has some wear to the body and small splits on one hand but largely remains in good condition.
