Vintage Alarmed Bank Vault Box

~ Vintage Alarmed Bank Vault Box ~

A lovely vintage bank vault box or safe deposit box which would have been used to store valuables.

The box is of sturdy metal construction, very heavy with a wood effect finish.

The interior is painted a bright red and features a removable tray.

The box would have been alarmed, the battery powered electrics for this can be found by removing the base inside the box (see images).

The box is complete with key.

~ Dimensions ~

The box measures 25cm (9 ¾ inches) by 19cm (7 ½ inches) by 13cm (5 ¼ inches).

It weighs 5.33 Kg.

~ Condition ~

There is some wear to the finish, but the box is otherwise in good order. The lock works well.

The alarm mechanism has not been tested, it works sporadically!
