~ Vintage Brass Carriage Clock ~
A simple & elegant brass carriage clock.
The clock is of brass with a swinging carriage handle to the top.
It features a white enamel face with Roman numeral hour markers, a minutes ring and black steel hands.
There are bevelled glass panels to both sides. To the reverse is a hinged door, again with a glass panel and to the top of the clock we find
another smaller oval glass panel.
The clock has no makers marks, though it is most likely French and over 50 years old, probably circa 1900.
It comes with a key.
~ Dimensions ~
The clock has a width of 8cm (3 inches) a depth of 6.5cm (2 ½ inches) and a height of 11.5cm (4 ½ inches).
It weighs 800g.
~ Condition ~
There is a little crack to the edge of the front glass panel and a mark to one of the side panels.
The dial panel is a little discoloured to the bottom edge, probably from sunlight.
The brass is in good order with only a couple of minor marks.
Overall the clock is in a nice condition and presents well.
It is in good working order and keeps time.
