~ World War 1 Era Light Infantrymans Pouch ~
Here we have the belt or webbing pouch of a light infantryman.
This pouch likely belonged to a military member of a central powers army, with the bugle being a universal symbol of the light infantry in Europe – this one looks very similar to that of the Hungarian Mountain Corps.
It is in remarkable condition for its age, the leather with some cracking and with only one tear – it’s still remarkably supple for a piece of equipment from a common soldier.
