~ WW1 1918 Trench Art Mirror In Its Original Addressed Post Back Home Case ~
A superb WW1 trench art mirror in the form of a ships wheel, made from brass, copper and steel.
The top rim is engraved
“Winnie”
and the lower rim
August 1st France 1918
It is still tightly housed in its wooden postage case which was addressed to a Miss Winnie Courley of Eastbourne and the lower left reads Wishing you many happy returns of the day From “Taffy”

The piece is in excellent order.

The case is 21 cm (8.25 inches) wide by 10 cm (4 inches) deep.
The magnifying glass is 19 cm (7.5 inches) in length and the lens is 5.5 cm (2.25 inches) in diameter.
