~ WW1 Carlton Crested China Model Of British Machine Gun – Birmingham ~
A fine white china model of a WW1 British machine gun, with crest and gilt detailing.
To the front of the gun is a crest for ‘Birmingham’.
To one side we have the title ‘Model of British Machine Gun’, and to the other side the letters ‘MG’ within a green wreath.
To the base is the stamp for ‘Carlton China’.
~ Dimensions ~
The gun is 4 inches (10cm) long while the tripod base measures 2 ½ inches (6.5cm) by 2 ½ inches (6.5cm). It weighs 40g.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in really great condition with no cracks or chips. The gilding is worn.
