~ WW1 French Spelter Inkwell Of A Machinegunner ~

The model depicts a French soldier in a trench sighting his machine gun. A pile of sandbags opens up to hold an inkwell. There is a plaque to the front for the 21st marine infantry regiment.

~ Condition ~

The spelter has developed a light patina. The glass inkwell is missing and the pin for the hinge is a replacement. The tip of the barrel is missing.

The piece is 16 cm (6.25 inches) wide by 9 cm (3.5 inches) by 9 cm (3.5 inches) tall. It weighs 0.53 Kg.
