~ WW2 German Wehrmacht 10 W.S.c VHF Panzer Radio Transmitter for Tiger, Panther, StuG, Hetzer ~
This was the standard transmitter for German WWII, tanks, tank destroyers and other armored vehicles. It is a part of the Fu 5 system (used in the Sd.Kfz.101, Sd.Kfz.141, Sd.Kfz.141/1, Sd.Kfz.141/2, Sd.Kfz.142, 10.5 cm K18 auf Panzer-Selbstfahrlafette, Kugelblitz, Wirbelwind, Flakpanzer IV, Sd.Kfz.171, Sd.Kfz.267, Sd.Kfz269, Sd.Kfz.173, Sd.Skf.173/1, Sd.Kfz.181, Sd.Skf.267/268, Sd.Sfk.166, Sd.Sfk.166/1, Sd.Sfk.184, Sd.Sfk.25173) that also includes the Ukw (Ultra Short Wave radio). E. e receiver. Both the receiver and transmitter have the same frequency scale and control mechanism. There are two click-stop station pre-sets, and an air core capacitor for matching antenna impendence. They were generally used for short distance communication between tank company and tank battalion headquarters. They were also used in stationary installations for communication with marine stations.
~ Condition ~
Not sure if working. The transmitter is in good condition for its age and usage with some marks and scratches to the outside panels and very small patches of rust. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
