~ WW2 Lieutenants Auxiliary Service Helmet With Liner And Chin Strap ~
The helmet has a broad red band around it, a decal I cannot make out to the fore and it comes with its lining and chinstrap.
The helmet has the following painted under the rim “Aux L/t Burt. 10441. A2 Mitcham”.
~ Condition ~
The liner is complete, the skull free front dents, there is quite a lot of loss to the paintwork.
~ Dimensions ~
The helmet is 30.5 cm (12 inches) fore to aft, 29 cm (11.25 inches) across and 15 cm (6 inches) tall.
