A 1938 named & dated Mess Dress Jacket of the Royal Artillery to a Major with all Kings Crown buttons & Henry Bobe tailor label, Territorial Battalion shoulder title with Kings Crown for rank of Major. Trousers with original buttons marked A. Darke, Finsbury E.C.

There is a later mention of Lieutenant Colonel GEG Gadsden in as part of 1944 – 43rd (Wessex) Infantry Division at Hill 112, 10th July 1944. 112th (Wessex) Field Regiment, Royal Artillery (attached to 130th Brigade) – Lieutenant Colonel GEG Gadsden
Jacket is quite small, measures approx: 40cm shoulder to shoulder. 88.5 cm base of jacket laid flat (point to point). 49.5 back of jacket base of collar – tip.
High Waisted Trousers: Outside leg 109cm. Inside leg 79cm. Highwaist 45cm each side (90 overall).
*Condition*
The jacket is in excellent condition. The trousers have some wear and tear with a few holes including one in the crotch and would benefit from dry cleaning. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
