*German, c1900, Brass 8 Point Open Face Field Compass, Marked Germany*
8-Point field compass. Brass body. Paper rose face, crystal (glass covering the compass) is flat cut glass. Printed to the face centre with “Germany”. 3cm diameter.
The compass markings NSEW suggest it was made for export as would have been NSOW for German use.
