Description

~ 1953 Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Stool ~

A middle of the 20th century limed oak coronation stool for the coronation of Elizabeth II. The stool has square chamfered legs with a tassel toe, the underside is branded ‘ER Coronation’ and the other side of the underframe ‘Waring & Gillow 1953’.

It has the original blue upholstery and a later protective cloth cover.

The stool is 46 cm (18 inches) wide, 32 cm (12.5 inches) deep and 47 cm (18.5 inches) tall.
