~ World War 1 German Bugle JR 26 ~
This World War 1 German bugle was found at Messines ridge by a Canadian soldier. It is made out of brass and copper, the handle is covered with a brown cloth.
The rim on the top part is impressed with the words “J.R. 26 JOSEPH WEINSTEIT EISENACH” (J.R. stands for Jaeger regiment).
~ Dimensions ~
The bugle has a height of 10.2 inches (26cm) and an overall diameter of 3.9 inches (10cm). It weighs 0.5 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The bugle is in fair condition it has a bit rust and is quite dented.
