Her sinking two hours and forty minutes later at 02:20 (ship’s time; 05:18 GMT) on Monday, 15 April, resulted in the deaths of more than 1,500 people, making it one of the deadliest peacetime marine disasters in history.
*Condition*
This paper is 108 years old, so is fairly fragile, having said that you can pick it up and open the pages to read.
It is of course yellowed with age, and there are some ring marks and discolouration to the back page from what looks like tea cups being placed on it.
Please look at the pictures as these form part of our condition report.
