~ 1967 18ct Gold & Diamond Kutchinsky Ladies Wrist Watch ~
A stunning ladies manual wristwatch of 18ct gold, studded with twenty diamonds.
The watch has a square textured dial with gold baton numerals and hands. The dial is signed Kutchinsky. The dial is surrounded by twenty 01. carat round-cut diamonds set into the white gold bezel. The crown is cleverly hidden behind the large bezel to give the watch nice crisp clean lines.
The inside of the watch case back has several marks including the mark ‘L.U.C’ and with the serial number of ‘61339’ it is also hallmarked for 18ct gold, London, 1967.
The movement is stamped ‘L.U. Chopard & Cie’, 17 Jewels, Swiss’.
The 18ct gold bracelet is of a milanese-loop, mesh style but smoothed out to a beautiful finish to the top.
The bracelet clasp is hallmarked for 18ct gold, London, 1967 and with the makers mark ‘L.U.C, and with a ‘K’ for Kutchinsky.
The watch is presented in its brown leather retail case with a cream silk and velvet lining. The box is from the jeweller Robert Allen of Chichester.

The diamonds are approximately 0.10cts each (3mm diameter).
The bezel measures 2.2cm square, the dial measures 1.3cm square. The watch measures 17.7cm (7 inches) in total length. It weighs 54g. The watch and box together weigh 153g.
~ Condition ~
The piece is in lovely condition with only minimal wear. The stones are sparkling and in good order and of a decent white colour. It runs and adjusts well.
