~ WW2 Era Tinplate Clockwork WH-29 German Army Kúbelwagen ~
A great tinplate clockwork German Army Kúbelwagen, produced around 1941-3, with a field grey and field green camoflagued body. It has black & grey balloon tin tyres, a clockwork mechanism (not running) and three composite seated figures. The steering wheel rotates the front wheels and there is a camouflage net stowed on the back.
The vehicle is fitted for towing artillery pieces etc. of which we have several listed elsewhere on this site.
I do not know the manufacturer but my best guess would be Hausser.
~ Dimensions ~
The vehicle itself measures 23 cm (9 inches) long by 8.5 cm (3.25 inches) wide by 7 cm (2.75 inches) tall. It weighs 0.19 Kg.
~ Condition ~
The paintwork is virtually perfect. There is the odd very minor ding to the metalwork but still rated excellent overall. The clockwork mechanism is present but is not currently working, there is no key. The figures are in good order but with minor paint wear.
