A fine quality etching of HMS Victory with other boats at sea by Harold Wyllie.

Harold Wyllie (1880–1973) was a painter, sculptor and engraver and was the son of the marine artist William Lionel Wyllie.

The etching is hand tinted with watercolours.

It is presented in a fairly modern glazed frame.

There are type written notes to the reverse.

The image measures 47cm (18 ½ inches) by 29cm (11 ½ inches).

The frame measures 62cm (24 ½ inches) by 46cm (18 inches).

It weighs 2.25 Kg

~ Condition ~

There is a small (1 inch diameter) water spot on the image, but the mark is light and doesn’t effect the overall look of the piece.

There are some light marks to the border, but nothing significant.

Overall the piece is in very nice condition.

The frame is in decent order with just a few small chips to the edges.
