~ Circa 1810 American US Navy Blue and Gilt 1796 Pattern Sword  ~

This is an exceptional blue and gilt example of a United States Navy sword based on the British 1796 pattern light cavalry sabre. The sword itself was manufactured around 1810.

*Dimensions*

The Sword is 39 inches long and 5 inches wide.

*Condition*

The Sword is in good condition with some age-related patina, the leather on the scabbard shows slight signs of degradation.
