The medal ribbon reveals that he was awarded again the Iron Cross 2nd Class, after 1939. He was also decorated with the Hindemburg cross for non-combatant veterans, the War Merit cross with Swords exceptional service “not in direct connection with combat” and what it seems to be the Wehrmacht long service medal.
